To uphold the scriptures of the Bible, through the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ, where the Word is preached in power, love and truth.

Preach the Word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.

Sanctify them in the truth; Thy Word is truth.

For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

To heal the brokenhearted and set the captives free in mind, body, soul and spirit

Isaiah 61:1-3  NASB

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring the good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives, and freedom to prisoners; to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.  And the day of vengeance of our God;  To comfort all who mourn, to grant those who mourn in Zion, giving them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of  gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of  a spirit of fainting.  So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
